Freedom $1250

Freedom is an 8-year-old, 14.2hh gelding, a non-gaited cross between a Tennessee Walker and an American Paint. He is registered with both the ISHR and AIHR.

Freedom has a difficult past—he came to us after experiencing neglect and abuse, which left him understandably cautious and reactive. Despite this, he’s shown heart and resilience. We’re currently working with him to rebuild his trust in people and help him feel safe with human interaction.

He leads, lunges both directions, and yields his hindquarters. Freedom lives peacefully in a 1.5-acre pasture with both geldings and mares, where he’s settled into a middle-to-top position in the herd hierarchy.

Due to our current limitations in time and resources, Freedom would thrive best in a home where he can receive consistent, patient handling and one-on-one attention. He would likely do best with an experienced, calm handler—ideally a smaller female—who can offer him the steady reassurance and trust-building he needs to continue healing.

Freedom is a special project with a lot of potential in the right hands.
