Sedona $5,000

Sedona is a 16-year-old red roan Mustang from Nevada with a steady, willing personality. Currently serving as our beginner lesson horse, she’s doing a great job and proving to be a reliable partner. Sedona moves with a smooth walk, trot, and lope, making her comfortable for riders of all levels. While she’s not lazy or overly energetic, she does lean more toward "whoa" than "go."

Standing at 15hh and built thick, Sedona has a sturdy, classic Mustang frame. She can be a bit opinionated when first meeting new geldings, but she quickly settles in. She’s currently pastured with both mares and geldings and gets along well. Lower in the pecking order, she tends to yield rather than challenge others.

Sedona is well-mannered on the ground—she stands calmly for grooming, tacking, mounting, dismounting, and untacking. She knows how to lunge, yield her forequarters and hindquarters, back up, and lower her head on cue. For farrier visits, she requires mild sedation, and we recommend front shoes for her comfort.

Under saddle, Sedona is versatile—she can be ridden Western, bareback, or even double. She’s as safe as they come: kid-safe, grandma-safe, boyfriend-safe, and husband-safe. Sedona is UTD on vaccines and Coggins.

Sedona is priced at a firm but fair $5k and will be ready for her forever home on Sunday May, 11 (Mother's Day).
